Blog Week 4: Start of Busy Noon
This is going to be a blog post about our game busy noon since my last blog was a culmination of our whole mobile game assignment.
For this assessment we were given the task of recreating an arcade game and making it playable using a xbox controller, unfortunately the class time we were given to create the presentations for the games we were going to pitch was taken up by a VR lecture so we didn’t have much time to create the presentations.
We pitched two games one being a tron remake and the other being a high noon remake, we got greenlit for the high noon game as the tron remake we pitched was too close original.
After we got greenlit our high noon remake was quickly dubbed busy noon and to this day I still have no idea why.
This assignment was mainly to teach us about juicing our games which is where you add extra feedback because arcade games had such simple mechanics that you need to add some extra substance to keep your players interested.
